How to Repair Artificial Turf Seams

Seam separation happens occasionally. Here’s how to address it.

  • Seam tape
  • Turf adhesive
  • Utility knife
  • Stiff brush
  • Infill (to replace lost material)

Repair Process

  1. Pull back turf edges to expose seam
  2. Remove old tape if present
  3. Clean and dry base material
  4. Apply new seam tape, centered
  5. Apply adhesive per instructions
  6. Press turf sections together
  7. Weight down during cure (24-48 hours)
  8. Replace infill, brush fibers
